Groove Fitness App (Firebase) – What We Process
If you sign in to the Groove Fitness app, we keep a very small profile in Google Firebase.
Data items: unique user ID (uid), email address, display name (if provided), language/locale, onboarding status (hasOnboarded), consent flags (terms accepted, marketing opt-in), and created/updated timestamps.
Purposes: create and manage your account, keep you signed in, show the app in your chosen language, and operate the service securely. We only send updates or promotions if you opt in to marketing.
Legal bases (EU): contract (account/booking), consent (marketing), legitimate interest (security/fraud prevention).
Storage location: Cloud Firestore is configured in an EU region. Authentication and support logs may be processed by Google globally; where that happens, Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention: we keep your profile while your account is active and delete it on request or after a reasonable inactivity period. You can ask us to delete your account at info@groovefitness.fun.
Optional if/when payments are added: If you purchase paid classes later, payment details will be processed by our payment provider and listed here.
Why do we process your data?
Our top priority is customer data security, and, as such, we may process only minimal user data, only as much as it is absolutely necessary to maintain the website. Information collected automatically is used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding website usage.
